Mai Yamane
1980〜1989、ベストアルバムを含むCD10作品をリリース。その後フリーランスとなり、世界を旅する傍ら、様々なコラボやセッションを展開する。1993、窪田晴男とギターと唄だけのロックアルバムを発表。”COWBOY BEBOP”など世界中のアニメファンに愛されるボーカリストでもある。1997、活動の拠点を富士山麓、山中湖に移し”New Archaic Sounds”を設立。「ふつうの唄」で新たな境地を拓き、人間の本質を謳った作品を作り続けている。（最新作「Bird of Paradise」）自身の活動のすべてを「日本列島やさしいきもち化計画」と位置づけ、みんなの心に人を愛する気持ちを呼び起こそうと、コンサートや学校での音楽授業など、全国各地で精力的に活動している。愛・地球博、パリ、サラゴザなど海外公演では、国や人種、宗教を越え、人間の本質=愛とよろこびで繋がる感動的なライブとなった。現在、Visionsと共に”Naked Soul Tour”中。		 081218_mai_yamane_130.jpg

Naked Soul Story
「日本列島やさしいきもち化計画」、「Naked Soul（裸の魂）」をコンセプトに、国内外で活動をしている、山根麻以+Visions!
その活動の中で、年に1度開催されている山中湖きらら野外シアターでの「Naked Soul」 山根麻以+Visionsの音楽の旅、それぞれの人生の旅を通して知り合った素敵な友だち、そしてこれから出会う新しい友だちが年に1度、富士山の麓に集合し、みんなで一緒に創りあげていくお祭りとして、定着してきている。
今年の「Naked Soul」(9月6&7日)のテーマは、「おといろ おとなみ ひとはあい」
これは、ひとりひとりの輝き みんなの輝きのハーモニー もともとみんなは愛 という意味。 山根麻以の声、歌、メッセージは、不思議と耳からではなく、胸から全身へと、心地よく「響き」渡っていく。目を閉じると、あたかも自分が透明感があり、虹の入った美しい水晶のように感じてしまうような。そのバイブレーションこそが、このテーマそのものだった。
Visionsの音にも、それぞれの「響き」があった。そして参加者はそれを体感すると同時に、それぞれの中にもその「響き」があることを思いだした。
ありのままの自分でいられることへの安心と、今、生きている喜びと生かされていることへの感謝。「響き」が、「響き合い」になっていった。
今年のきららでの「響き合い」は、ライブの半ばで、雷、強雨、強風を伴う浄化の嵐も呼んだ。ステージも楽器も機材もずぶ濡れになったが、みんな笑顔いっぱいだった。嵐の中、4曲を演奏した後にライブは中止を余儀なくされたが、そこに居たすべての魂たちは輝いていた。会場はひとつとなった。
そしてこの奇跡のライブは、それぞれの心の奥深いところに残るものとなった。
「あの体験を東京でも、是非!」という熱い気持ちが、12月18日、代官山UNITでのライブを現実のものにさせた。テーマは、「Aquarius Tokyo」
今回はどういった「響き合い」になるのだろうか！
そして今、どうして山根麻以+Visionsなのか！
12/18代官山UNITで、みんなが魂で感じるものこそがこの答えとなるだろう。
Words from a Naked Soul Staff
富士山がステージの後ろから見守る山中湖きららで３年目を迎えた今年のNaked Soul。その名の通り「裸の魂」が姿を表す場所／イベントだ。
すでに伝説となった嵐のライブは全てを洗い流し、皆が「裸の魂」を曝け出した。そうなると人間はたまらなく素直にならざるをえない。会場は一体となり、一人一人が繋がった大きな家族が生まれた。「何か」がツキヌケタその時間を誰もが「奇跡のライブ」と称した。 その奇跡を再び東京でも再現しようと、今回の代官山UNITでのライブを決めた。去年スタッフとして働いた自身１年目のネイキッドでは一生の仲間との出会い、まさか“Blue”を生で聴ける感動、生きてる喜びを心に留めて、日々の生活へと帰っていった。
しかし、あまりにパワフルでスピリチュアルなその体験を頭のどこかで疑い、信じきれなかった自分がいた。正直な事を言えば、周りの友達を今年のNaked Soulに心の底から勧め、誘う事をためらった。前の年は素晴らしい体験をしたが、今年もそうと限らないだろうと。しかしそれは必要のない心配だった。今年のNaked Soulでその思いは「確信」へと変わった。疑いようのない体験をそこにいた誰もが感じていたのを知ったからだ。
だから僕はあなたを山根麻以＆Visionsが奏でる音と作り出すヴァイブレーションを目の当たりにし、Naked Soulを体験してほしい。
今回のUNITでの“Aquarius Tokyo”はNaked Soulのアフターパーティ／嵐のため演奏しきれなかった曲の「リベンジライブ」でもあるが、それとは関係なしに独立したクリスマス前の最高のワンナイトパーティにするつもりだ。こちらもやれることを思いっきり試すのでそちらも試しに足を運んできてほしい。そして「何か」を感じたようなら夏のNaked Soulにも羽を伸ばしてきてほしい。　from a staff “Daiji”

Naked Soul Story
Naked Soul defines the concept of, and is title to the ongoing project of Mai Yamane + Visions. Once a year, a culmination of their musical journey, along precious friends met through each individual’s life journey, and new encounters of everlasting relations gather at the foot of Mt. Fuji to bring together a festival of special meaning.
This year’s Naked Soul (9/6 & 9/7) held the theme “Oto-iro Oto-nami Hito-wa-ai - each individual’s light, everyone’s bright shining harmony, people are products of love.
The voice and messages of Mai Yamane surpass the ear and flow directly into one’s heart and “vibrate” through the body.
Close your eyes and you will feel clear as a crystal, transparent of your self being. Looking back, it seems these “vibration” must have been the real meaning of it all. Each member of The Visions have a unique sound, with a “vibration” of its own. Everyone involved experiences these “vibration”, but at the same time are reminded that they have a unique “vibration” of their own.
Each “vibration” coincide to make “reverberations”.
Being in complete peace of mind and agreement with one’s self, we feel blessed and thankful to be alive.
This year’s “vibration” being so powerful, summoned a thunder storm at the height of the performance.
Despite all the instruments and entire stage being poured on, the heat of the crowd made the artists go on.
Nobody dared to walk away from the sight they were seeing.
In the end, the live had to stop short, but the rain had swept away everything, revealing a crowd full of naked souls.
The arena came one.
And all who were present witnessed a miracle.
Our strong will to bring this miracle to Tokyo created the opportunity to do a show at UNIT“Aquarius Tokyo”!

Mt. Fuji watches over from behind the stage of Kirara the site where “Naked Soul” has taken place for three years now. As its name suggests, it is literally a place/event that shows the naked soul of aperson.
Having already been described as legendary, this year’s performance under the thunder storms swept away everything and revealed the true colors of all those that were present. In such a state, people become amazingly pure. The entire site had “become one”, and a large family of friends were born. “Something” had happened which broke down invisible walls and barriers, in which everyone called a miracle.
In hopes to recreate a miracle in Tokyo, a show at Daikanyama UNIT has been realized. My first experience with Naked Soul saw me working as staff at last years party. There I had met everlasting friends, and couldn’t believe my ears when I heard “Blue” a song engraved deep down inmy heart, performed right in front of my eyes.
I had gone home feeling grateful to be alive. But because it was so powerful and spiritual, I had doubts somewhere in my mind, and found myself not being able to completely believe and accept the experience I had had. To tell the truth, I was hesitant to suggest and invite my friends to this year’s Naked Soul. Last year might have been a wonderful time, but I was afraid that this year would not necessarily be so. However my worries were unnecessary.
With this year’s Naked Soul, my doubts had been blown away, and I can say with confidence that t is a very special event. That is because I know every single person who was there at this year’s party had experienced something special.
This is why I strongly recommend you to hear Mai Yamane+Visions perform, and feel their vibrations.
This time’s party dubbed “Aquarius Tokyo”, at UNIT is sort of an “after party” of this summer’s Naked Soul, and also a “revenge gig” of the songs that had been cut short due to the storm. But at the same time it will be an awesome pre-Christmas party of its own. As we will try to make it a special night, I hope you will also try and come out to see what we have to offer. And if you feel anything special, we hope to see you at next year’s Naked Soul.
